Refund policy
Any licence can be refunded within 30 days of purchase, with no reason needed. Paddle.com, our reseller, handles the refund.
30 days, no questions
If a licence is not right for you, ask for a refund within 30 days of the purchase date. You don't need to give a reason, and you get back everything you paid, VAT included.
Every product also has a free trial, so you can try the software before you buy. You still have the full 30 days after buying.
How to ask
Either of these works:
- Through Paddle. Paddle.com is our reseller and the merchant of record for every order, so it processes all refunds. Go to paddle.net and look up your order with the email address you bought with, or use the link in your Paddle receipt email.
- Through us. Email info@letissier.ie with the email address you bought with, or the order number from your receipt. We will ask Paddle to refund you and confirm when it's done.
Paddle refunds to the payment method you used. Depending on your bank or card issuer, the money usually appears within five to ten working days of approval.
What happens to the licence
A refund takes effect when Paddle approves it. We then email you to say what changed.
- A full refund ends the licence. It stops activating on new machines, and machines already using it stop at their next check-in.
- A partial refund, for example a goodwill credit, leaves the licence as it is. If several partial refunds add up to the full price, the licence ends as it would with a full refund.
- A refunded renewal takes back the year of updates that renewal added. The licence itself keeps working: same key, same machines, same builds you already have.
After 30 days
After the refund period, we don't normally refund a licence you have been able to use. That does not affect your legal rights. If the software is faulty or not as described and we can't fix it, you are entitled to a refund under consumer law whenever the fault appears. We will also look at any other case where something went wrong. Write to us.
If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, the law gives you 14 days to withdraw from a purchase. Our 30-day refund period includes and goes beyond that. See also Paddle's refund policy. Where the two differ, whichever gives you more applies.
Chargebacks
Please contact us or Paddle before disputing a payment with your bank. A refund is faster for you than a chargeback. When a payment is charged back, the licence it paid for ends. If the chargeback is later reversed and the payment stands, we reinstate the licence.
